Speaking of which, I'm still not happy with the silent change in the
Unicode interpretation, introduced in version 4.0.1, of the 15924
code "Hrkt":
Old meaning: Hiragana AND Katakana; text contains characters from
both syllabaries.
New meaning: Hiragana OR Katakana; text contains specific modifier
letters that could apply to either syllabary.
Is this an issue for the UTC or for the 15924/RA?
Probably both, depending on whose meaning is deemed to be "correct."
The two clearly conflict with each other as it stands.
Please file the query according to the rules on the ISO 15924 website, then.
