Since we're all outing ourselves here I have to declare
that I *am* a font designer. I am on the unicode list
(and I am also a member of the Unicode Consortium)
because I love language and words and letters and
because I believe that Unicode is one of the most 
important international cooperative projects this
planet has ever seen.
