2027 is explicitly intended to be used to show syllables as is done in dictionaries. You don't make it explicit in your query, but it sounds like that is the purpose you are looking for. So, don't hesitate, use 2027.
The nice thing about 2027 is that you can always filter it back out, because, by intent, it is not part of the word.
