In my opinion such sequence is not even needed. Unless sequences are annotated with a gender, or skin color or similar extension, they are neutral and may be represented using any available option (…).

L2/16-­181, ­182 and 221 not only propose <profession figure emoji>+ZWJ+<gender symbol> sequences (e.g. 👷‍♀️ and 💁‍♂️), but also <gendered adult figure emoji>+ZWJ+<profession symbol emoji> sequences (e.g. 👩‍✈️ and 👨‍🚒). The former could work without an explicit neutral/ambiguous/androgynous option, the latter cannot.
