If someone made such a mistake with typical English, I could accuse them of not reading what they typed. That line of defence is not available. One of the purposes of the dotted circles introduced in complex script processing is to warn the writer that such an error has been made. However, there are cases where homographic anagrams indicate different pronunciations. I think it is not a 'typographical error' if it renders as it should! Richard.
