Nevin, Thanks for the interesting suggestion. I'll mull things over, and would welcome others to agree or disagree with Nevin's suggestion, or make your own proposal.
I do not want to add a new keyword or function for this very much, but putting timezone info into a second result from &dateline (and &clock starts to make sense if we did it this way) is a viable alternative to modifying &dateline's main format.
