The implementation of classes is pretty stable and your methodnames() procedure will work for the forseeable future. "Pretty stable" does not mean frozen, though. I can't guarantee methodnames() won't ever need to change; I have thought about space optimizations that would affect it. Actually, methodnames() is a pretty good candidate for a built-in function.
