Thanks for the report. There is basically a chicken-and-egg problem with CVS and Icon, where Icon wants there to be makefiles in all directories ahead of time in order to "make clean" before configuring, but I don't want makefiles everywhere ahead of time in CVS because the configuration step just overwrites them with platform-specific makefiles which would then be reported as CVS differences all the time. I'll see if I can't find a proper multiplatform fix for this.
