Thanks for the replys.  I tried Captain Creep this summer around the
bases of the railing and apparently, I either did not put enough
around (after several coatings) or I am faced with a hardware issue,
maybe.

Regarding the running lights, unfortunately mine are mounted on the
hull.  The water is either finding its way through the cabin top or
starting up on the flybridge, but even then it seems I would see
evidence of that prior to the small quarter windows.
