I'm in Petersburg with a 27 Express Cruiser.  I made an aft bulkhead with a
sliding door in it out of fiberglass and plywood.  It ain't pretty but it keeps
me warm when I go deer hunting in December and January.

Subject: [UnifliteWorld] '72 31' Sedan Security and Comfort

Folks,
I'm thinking hard about using this boat ('72 31' Sedan) for my
charter
operation in Sitka. I've always been a Uniflite junky, and my wife
grew up on them.

However, we have some concerns when it comes to harbor security with
only canvas for the aft closure. I feel safe in Sitka, but what about
tying up in other locations? Also, with the canvas closed and the
Webasto blowing, and the companion way open, would those at the helm
be comfortable in the winter?

Thanks for you thoughts!
Cheers,
Alexander, Sitka, AK
