I had my 36' SS moved from Central Florida to my yard in West Georgia. We are re-fitting her right now. The fly bridge, including all of the railing had to come off. She was transported on a hydraulic / air trailer. These are much simpler to transport large boats with but every state has its own rules about using them. I had to have it because I do not have a boat crane at my house. The guy was very nice and friendly. You can call him at 321-689-3431. I do not know if he would come all the way to CA though. If you do call the guy tell him that your boat measures the same as the one he took up to Georgia and dropped off in the mud and rain.
Cost for my transport was $3k and the distance was about 550 miles. I probably paid a little too much as I went through a broker....never again... One note.. He did have to drive through downtown Atlanta to get to me and had no problems. good luck, Victor On Mar 1, 11:08 am, socalsker <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All, > > I'm moving from California to Texas and have been pricing trucking > companies to help with moving my boat.
