Hi Bob and Carmen, I have a 36DC and I built a set of stairs from the swim grid to the aft deck and it's the best thing thatI ever did to the boat. I love an aft cabin boat, but they are a pain to get on and off o so instead of buying a boat with an aft cockpit ,I built a set of stairs out of aluminun tubing and plate ,and had it powdercoated to match the boat hull colour. I also built a new swimgrid that is 12 inches longer that the original swimgrid so that we can walk between the stairs and the dingy when the dingy is up. Everyone who has seen the stairs ,especially anyone who has used them, love them. I wish that I new how to attach photos on this site so that you could see them. It was a lot cheaper that buying a bigger boat!!
