I have noticed that nothing was mentioned in your models about a 1984 48' Cockpit Motor Yacht. We bought ours about a year ago in Panama City, Fl and cruised it to Kemah, TX. We are liveaboarders and have it moored at Marina del Sol on Clear Lake. From a funtional stand point, I don't know of another boat that fits the needs of a liveaboarder better in this size range. I did board a 55' Jefferson that looked very nice inside but it didn't have a cockpit. That made it a little more difficult to board, especially with an arm load of groceries or something. Our over all length is about 53' counting the anchor pulpit and the swim platform. My wife loves the sunroom. The nicest thing is that there aren't many steps going from one level to another. My friends Jefferson had a steep 6 or 7 step interior ladder that led from his lower helm to his flybridge. I almost broke my neck trying to navigate that ladder. Needless to say, I love our Uniflite. Now the insurance companies aren't wanting to insure any of the older boats on the western gulf coast, thanks to Hurricane Ike. What is with that? Here are a few pics. I'll send more later.
