If you ran the tank empty the engines will not prime. Crack the fuel line at the pump on the engine. Put the blower side hose from your shop vac on the tank vent. Hold the vac with your hand to the vent to pressurized the tank forcing fuel up to the place you have the lind cracked at the fuel pump (supply side). When fuel comes out at one pump. Tighten that line and loosen the other engine and then your generator -- in turn. Works like a charm! Let me know how it goes. OH, you don't need a mechanic for this! I am having a fuel supply issue. Lost one engine. Ran for an hour on 1 engine. Then lost that one too. Onan generator wont even run. Starboard tank is dry but center tank is full. I set the valves to run both engines off the center tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont know any mechanics in this area. My cell is full 4 2 5 8 9 0 8 9 1 7 if you guys have ideas. Its almost like there is almost no fuel at all getting to the engines. I quadruple checked all the valves though.
