Thanks Hal. Turned into one hell of a weekend. Spent most of Mother’s Day
weekend trying to get the engines primed while the wife walked around town by
herself. Finally got the port engine going and not the starboard one. I was
up on the flybridge pulling away from the Poulsbo do and decided it was going
to be too cold up there. I rolled off the throttle to idle as I swapped to the
lower helm and the one running engine died again. THEN, the starter didn’t
even want to turn over. So I got pulled back to the dock by the buddy I was
boating with this weekend and we left the boat there. We went home on his boat
and he dropped me back off in Gig Harbor on his way to Olympia. I am driving
out to Poulsbo this morning as Marty is meeting me at the docks around 9am.
The gal that was working the office at the marina suggested I call him. I
called him yesterday and obviously he was not real interested in coming out on
a Sunday. I don’t blame him. I’m glad to hear you recommend him too. I will
have to walk over to D dock and take a look at your boat. J

Thanks,

Kerry

Kerry--if you are still having problems there is a guy named Marty Stickles in
Poulsbo who runs a small engine repair shop but is very knowledgeable on diesel
engines. HIs number is 360-779-5040. I keep a 34 Uni in Poulsbo at the
downtown docks on D row. Look me up some weekend. Not always there as we live
in Vancouver, Wa. Hal

Subject: [UnifliteWorld] Stuck in Poulsbo

Anyone know a good diesel mechanic in the Poulsbo area? I am having a fuel
supply issue. Lost one engine. Ran for an hour on 1 engine. Then lost that one
too. Onan generator wont even run. Starboard tank is dry but center tank is
full. I set the valves to run both engines off the center tank. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. I dont know any mechanics in this area. My cell is full
4 2 5 8 9 0 8 9 1 7 if you guys have ideas. Its almost like there is almost no
fuel at all getting to the engines. I quadruple checked all the valves though.
