Very interesting.
Can't tell you what the little lever does, but I *can* tell you that
somebody mucked with your installation (either original installation
or a service) subseqent to January, 1995. On January 15, 1995, Friday
Harbor changed from the 206 area code to 360. That "Taku Marine"
decal shows a 360 area code for Friday Harbor, so that sets the
absolute earliest date for that decal. Now whether that was the
original install or a service is up in the air.
