Get one brass elbow and one brass street elbow (a street ell has female threads on one end and male fittings on the other). This will eliminate the male pipe nipple to join the two ells together that I suggested earlier. $14.67 each. Then get two brass 1-1/4 hose barb to 1 1/4 mips (male threads on outside of fitting) pipe thread fittings: http://www.plumbingstore.com/brass_barb_fittings.html $18.67 each.
