Oh, heck. I just re-read your original post. You want to put the elbow/loop right on your water pump? I assume you'll remove the hose fitting from your pump, if there's one there. In that case get two street ells and forget the hose barbs (if you took off a hose fitting from your pump; otherwise, get one barb fitting). Screw one street ell right into your water pump, then the other on to the first, and screw the hose fitting you took off your water pump into the end of the second street ell.
