Yes I Did. I have a Block and Tackle that I use. I deflate the Dinghy and use the Radar Arch to hoist the rolled up beasty onto the bridge. Gived me the deck space back. And no big ungainly thing to work around while fishing.
Used the 2 rollers on top and bottom for a total of 4 lines... Not enough for a really heavy load. Get the small 3x3 blocks. Needs more line. I also got enough length to reach the water line. Can be used to haul up a person or a big Tuna or Marlin. (like the old fashion Gin Pole) See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block_and_tackle for the math. Do the math and figure out your length of line needed. Keep in mind that the line, if too small, may be hard on the hands. I lift a heavy load and regret getting to small of a diameter line. I did a "Double Tackle" and wish I had the "Three Fold" hope that this helps. Keith L.
