I have a 36' aft cabin and I have had some vapor lock problems. At
least I think that is what it is. I have two 454 crusaders. I am
frustrated that I did not pull the airfilter to check the carb to see
if it was spraying fuel or not This happened to me a couple of time
last summer also. It always seems to happen when the weather is in the
hight ninties or near one hundred which it was each time this
happened. The down side of boating in north Idaho. If anyone has had
the same experience I would appreciate hearing about it. Maybe some of
you california boaters have had this or maybe even in puget sound this
last week. I might add that the engines were not overheating or even
running above 185 degrees. rich
