Could you send a picture to see what is going on with your exhaust system.Having worked on these engines for 30 years I might be able to figure out the problem, For Mike Mc Cartney you will probably be replacing more than one piston and rod assembly once the cylinder head comes off. From past experience it usually is the case. Just a thought for you. Also send picture of what you have and we can take a look. Regards Roger
