roger, i am out of town for a couple of weeks, but when i return, i plan to take some photos, and will send them to you. I was so bummed out about the problem, I decided to just get it out of my mind for a while. Reality is now beginning to sink back in. Fortunately the season is mostly over, so there is little urgency. Do you have any idea what a typical repair might cost me? the boat [and it's owner] are now both getting pretty old, and i have to keep that in mind. Thanks for your help. alex
