Thanks guys. I know the full configuration of the water tanks in the 42.
For those that swapped to the Poly tanks I was hoping to find a good company
to deal with for stock sizes or custom made tanks in the Puget Sound area.
I have gotten burnt too many times already this year with deceitful
contractors. I am mostly looking for personal recommendations of who to work
with.

Thanks,

Kerry

Kerry: I have a 1984 42IISE (DCMY) and I have plastic tanks. I believe
they were stock back in 84. There are two tanks under the aft berth and I
measured them and calculated that they total about 140 gal. The original
listing indicated 160 gal capacity (?). They are connected together as far
as filling and venting, but have separate exit hoses that are combined
before the water line going to the pump. There is a "beam" running between
them to support the center line of the berth. (There is a 100 gal. diesel
fuel tank below the water tanks.)
