I'm planning to remodel the V-berth in my Mega this winter. The V- berth has a white shag-type of material glued to the ceiling; some areas are falling down and glue is showing through in others. The wife says it has to go! Any suggestions on what I should replace this with?? Carpet? One of my concerns is that the ceiling surface is uneven due to fiberglass buildup / moldings around the hatch and recessed areas on the edges. It looks like I will have to cut numerous patterns and glue up material in individual pieces. I think that carpet may not mold well to all the contours of the ceiling. Any suggestions on what to use and how to tackle this project?
