I was just looking for something else and found the following in my
files which is in response to a question on the old Uniflite board:

"Your teak was naturally colored with age. Teak will get darker where
the light can get to it. I worked in the paint shop at Uniflite from
1971 - 1979 we used Watco Marine Teak oil and no stain. You should
try a hidden area with stain then oil to see how it matches. The
Phillipine mahogony boats were stained either fruitwood for walnut
(customer choice but mainly fruitwood) and the african mahogony was
not stained"

Hope this information is helpful.
