I lucked out by having my previous "owner" being Veco, an oil
exploration firm in Alaska. I was told they owned the boat for 10
years and used my 42 for customer entertainment fishing trips. As a
result those engineers did everything better than by the book. I also
inherited a lifetime supply of spare parts. Now if I can resist using
duct tape I'll be OK.
