So you guys just pulled out those zincs all together and plugged it? No side effects?

Hey there Capt Perry, Monty here..I have 671s and just replaced my zincs after I had one, that I didn't know about, break off just ahead of my impeller and destroyed my impeller ..our resident marine mechanic told me he sees this all the time and that it's not that necessary to replace that on so I didn't..that is my personal choice of course...just a heads up to that last zinc tube near the draw side of the raw water impeller. By the way, I have the Detroit 71 service manuals and they dont list that anywhere that I could find. You wouldn't have a list of the zincs for that engine too would ya?
