I don't know where you keep your boat, but you should UNPLUG it from shore power until you solve your problem. If it's in fresh water, and you're leaking electrical current into the water, you could KILL a swimmer or diver with HOT underwater metals! You think a merine electrician is expensive? Try a wrongful death lawsuit! Your insurance will hit its limits in a heartbeat. GET IT FIXED before you plug the boat in or run the generator! If you have an inverter, turn it OFF.
