On the Owens35, I made my gaskets outta butcher-paper but I am a cheapskate. The oil strainer (Index 55) was plugged up with fuzz from the clutch rings. If it is really badly plugged, then your clutch rings and plates might need to be replaced. Mine wasn't shifting into gear, and cleaning the oil strainer fixed it. Good luck.
