To see some diesel tanks go to  www.densnet.net   and snoop around. I
removed both of the 200 gal tanks, and the 100 gal tanks, because of
leakage in the starboard tanks only. go figger. Anyway, as you will
see there are ports I cut in the tops, and crud in the bottom. I
scrubbed them, had them sandblasted, scrubbed them again, and then
used metalready, and scrubbed again. 2 coats of POR15 makes the inside
slick, and leak-proof. I could see holes in the aluminum prior to
sealing. Manufactured and installed plate seals over neoprene. The
main tanks were outside of the engines, but I had removed the entire
salon deck for replacement. This made it at least possible to get to
them. The 100 gal tanks came out, not very easily, after removing the
generator. I just got word from a friend at the boatyard that I have a
way to get power to the EAGLE again, so might get busy again. Jeez
what a BS'er I'm outta here
