Yep COLD it is. Had us fishing for the facts. I had ASSUMED incorrectly. CHECKING OIL LEVEL Check the oil level daily before starting the engine. Oil will sometimes drain back into the transmission from the cooler when improperly installed. It is important that oil level checks on new installations be made immediately after the engine has been shut off, and before the oil has had a chance to drain back. If you have drain back, correct the installation.
