Thanks to you all for your great suggestions. I got the new carpeting installed and it looks great. I did invest in a professional electric carpet stapler which really helped. When asked was it hard I tell them its pretty easy technically but isn't easy physically due to the cramped spaces and numerous cuts. Took me about 30 man hours. Again thanks for letting me know it can be done without professional help. Saved a bunch of dough.
