Now I have finally have UnionFS working... and now it's way easier than one year ago, where I had to recompile a new kernel to get it going.... I just forgot the unionfs syntax during the year.. but thanks :)
I mean that now I just compiled the unionfs LKM and loaded it ! One year ago - standard OSes didn't had 2.6.9 kernels - that are required by UnionFS, so I had to build entire (vanilla) kernel from source w/ UnionFS patch applied. BTW: Why 2.6.9 is required and not 2.6.8 or 2.6.0 ? I mean what in 2.6.9 is so different from 2.6.8 for example so that UnionFS _requires_ it? _______________________________________________ unionfs mailing list [email protected] http://www.fsl.cs.sunysb.edu/mailman/listinfo/unionfs
