I don't understand these things, I'm just an user.

I just tested latest squashfs with latest unionfs (almost) and my
problem with SMP kernels is not present, so I reported it here.

My problem was PROBABLY caused by using many squashfs filesystems at
once, I heard that this is a bug in 3.0, already fixed in CVS.

Phillip, if you "just announced" any other squashfs fix nowadays
then my problem is not related to it.

For the record, the squashfs bug that I fixed earlier this week does
not always immediately crash the affected system.  It sometimes
doesn't crash for several minutes.  It's a memory stomp, so anything
is fair game.  The symptoms I noticed first was a file in my squashfs
incorrectly reading as all 0x00 bytes.
