I've been having some difficulty with getting the persistent home in Knoppix 5.1.1 to work properly, using UnionFS. I've created the image (2 GB) on my hard drive (hda1) and have tried booting by just pressing return, as well as typing "knoppix home=scan" and "knoppix home=/dev/hda1". So far, no matter what I try the OS boots up with default settings from the Live CD.
I'm relatively new to Knoppix, and am looking to learn more, but it's difficult to do when my OS resets every time I turn my computer on. Any help?
