Yes, I would like to have a tarball. Xfce4-indicator-plugin is distributed independently from Ubuntu so I cannot simply rely on Ubuntu version.
I addition to that, I would like to know which libindicator version (as defined in AC_INIT) is/will be guaranteed to include indicator-ng.h. At the moment my best bet is 12.10.2 (as used in branches 13.10 and 14.04) but that is only a minor version bump from incompatible libindicator-12.10.1. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Unity API bugs, which is subscribed to libindicator. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1238316 Title: No release with IndicatorNg API yet Status in Libindicator: Incomplete Bug description: Would it be possible for you to release 13.04 or 13.10 version with the new (IndicatorNg) API? Alternatively, if you could at least decide which version will come with indicator-ng.h then I could set it as a dependency for xfce4-indicator-plugin.
