It is not possible for webapps at the moment, the framework does not expose any api for that afaik. We should start a feature request for that there: https://bugs.launchpad.net/libunity-webapps

I would expect hitting the Play/Pause key to pause webapp media since it works for every other app that has Media Menu integration.
