I noticed while in a hurry a few days ago, and again closely yesterday, that O'Donnell Real Estate has sold the property at 4716 Cedar Avenue has, and that a zoning appeal is scheduled for December 5 on a request for a permit for a 6 family dwelling. I'm concerned that some entity may be attempting to set up a group home at this location, since the request is for a 6 family dwelling, rather than 6 apartments.
The zoning calendar number is 01-1181, the date is October 24, 2001, and Christopher J. O'Donnell is named as the applicant. The hearing is set for December 5th at 5:00 PM at 1515 Arch Street, 18th Floor. Does anyone know about the intended use of this property, or feel comfortable about asking Chris O'Donnell? Elliot M.
