One solution to the changed address problem is - mail filters.

It is possible to create a "userid unknown" bounce message from your
"mailer" and return it anytime you receive a message from that source.
(Note: This doesn't work with spam becuse they don't use real addresses.)

One of two things happens... you don't get any more of the messages because
        A) the mailing list mailer actually recognizes the userid unknown
bounce message and automatically disables your name from the list.
A1) the bounce message goes to the list owner who will remove you
           for that same reason.

        B) Neither A nor A1 happens, but you don't see the messages because
your mail filter automatically deletes them.
