haven't you been listening? open, up-front community debate has 
nothing to do with achieving goals of STEWARDSHIP - AND INVESTMENT - 
and those would be the goals of the people VESTED in living here - 
not just SUCKING money out of the FABRIC of the neighborhood - yes 
IT IS OFTEN CHEAPER IN THE LONG RUN to do the JOB RIGHT THE FIRST 
TIME.
