Lauren and all, I was at the recent meeting about Bill 643. It was very poorly advertised- I only saw a few flyers up. Jannie Blackwell's assistant has said that there will be more public meetings throughout the summer about this bill. I hope that they are better advertised than this one. When the bill was first introduced the same thing happened- the city (illegally) neglected to inform citizens.
Richard Redding, City Planner and presenter, said that Bill 643 doesn't efffect or change current or potential group house status. I have ben lied to many times by city officials so I don't know if that is true or not, but that is what he said.
