I am equally disappointed with the Bridge's offerings, but don't forget
that a few blocks away from the Bridge is International House (37th and
Chestnut), and they have fantastic movies. They just won a City Paper
award ("best comeback") for their programming.
They don't screen current movies, but they do have films you can't see
anywhere else. In January, they have a month-long series on War films from
all over the world. And February is the International Women's Film
Festival.
Check them out. You won't be disappointed.
