Dear neighbors:
I've just talked with Mike Silverman, the new and excellent
principal of Lea School at 47th and Locust Street, a K-8 school which he
is turning around... he has openings for kindergarten, the class sizes
are small! If you know of anyone who is thinking about a school and has
not yet decided, or who was perhaps not going to send their child to
kindergarten, do mention it..... The kgt teachers are nice, the rooms are
in the newest wing of the school very pleasant, grouped together and
there are plenty of books and supplies and support systems.
And... the school garden is often used for the children to go to...
