Dear Ms Knight:

Of course my posts are strident the neighborhood is in an absolute shambles.  And it is time for a change.  The complaisant, noblesse-oblige tone of your recent email is typical of the attitudes and actions of many of the self appointed community leaders that have led the third district down this spiraling road to ruin.  You and your ilk travel through the district gaze upon the dilapidated homes, the boarded storefronts and the crumbling buildings and then endorse the status quo.  If you are unable to see the problems how can you possibly help solve them.  You reside in a district run in the classic boss tweed style by a woman who inherited her power from her husband and you are concerned about white male hegemony?   Do you even know the meaning of those words?  All of the ten-dollar words in the world won't bolster your argument if you don't know what they mean or how to use them.

The benign neglect that you and other pseudo-intellectuals show towards the neighborhood is no less damaging than the spray-paint and thrown rocks that your true peers use every night to deface the district.  You ask why you should write me in; you shouldn't.   Given your positions and posts, you apparently think that everything is fine in University City.  I must admit though that I find your apparent love of blight, crime, homelessness, unemployment and decay a bit puzzling since you claim to care about our neighborhood.  Just please make sure that you tell anyone you know who actually gives a damn about University City to vote Mosetter.

Dear Mr. Mosetter:

Your posts continue to be strident  more than reflective.  They do not engender confidence.  Your responses always seem to be more the result of a burr under your so-called saddle than the calm of reason.

Please tell me why I should write you in when you divide more than include?  Politics is bi-partisan not bi-polar.

Subject: [UC] Jannie Blackwell never visits us any more

Missing at tonight's meet the candidate was Jannie Blackwell !

Just because no one is officially running against her does she not have to come out and play?

What is she chicken to face the people who now have to pay her 15% more for doing 45% less for us?

J. Walter Mosetter
Write me in, At least I will attend all the meetings
and try to be involved for the complete term.
