I also would not recommend the Pad Thai Shack for their namesake dish. I had it over the summer and was quite disappointed.
Probably not an option for you tonight since it is a bit far and I don't think they deliver, but there is a beautiful new Thai place in the 900 block of Spring Garden called Siam Lotus. Apparently, the restaurant was open back in the '80's and the people that used to own it are partners with the new guy and also work in the kitchen.
