I had a robbery not long ago, I was told specifically by an 18th District Sgt. that burglary is not a crime in the City of Philadelphia unless an assault is involved. He said it is an insurance company problem.
This was sorta confirmed by an Asst. DA when I did the leg work and found the location of my stolen equipment and another sound companies equipment was also found in same location in a housing development by a ring that allegedly involved ex police people in North Philadelphia.
