On Wayne's: I had an axle leak on my truck, which was leaking axle grease into my brake drums. Brakes and seals needed replacement.
Wayne's took out the axle to replace the seal on the inner and outer joints and replaced the brakes. Two weeks later, the axle was leaking and the brakes needed replacement. I was told that for additional money he could fix it again. I promptly took it to another shop, told them of the work done, and had an assessment. The second shop told me that the axle was bent and that the leak would continue until the axle was replaced. I was also told there was no reason Wayne's should have not replaced the axle. The mechanic documented his work with photos and a statement. Fortunately, I paid via credit card and was able to contact my cc company, informed them of what had happened, and did not have to pay for the work. The cc company made some arrangements with Wayne so he was not shafted, but they said I did not have to pay them.
