Community Issues Dinner, Tuesday, November 11 at 6:30 pm
with Eric Goldstein, Director of University City District
Abbraccio initiates a series of dinners with a chance to meet people who are
in the news in our neighborhood. Based on the White Dog caf's wonderful
"Table Talk" series, these dinners and talks are focused solely on issues of the
University City-West Philadelphia area.
For our first dinner, we are pleased to welcome Eric Goldstein from the
University City District. The UCD has spearheaded initiatives to make improvements
at both the Baltimore Ave. and Lancaster Ave. commercial corridors, but there
has been some resistance to these efforts.
Dinner is at 6:30pm, the talk and Q&A are from 7:30-8:30pm. Price for a
three-course dinner and the talk is $20.00 - price includes gratuity.
Reservations are necessary! A few spaces for Dessert, coffee and the talk may be
available for $6 each. Eric promises to hang around at the end of the program for
some more private discussion.
