Hi,
We got a strange package on our doorstep today. It was a DVD in a plain envelope. There was no return address and my name was garbled on the label. It was a copy of Support Your Local Sheriff.
Did anyone else recently get anything similar?
BGA
P.S. I'm typing out a copy of the letter that accompanied the DVD. Grammatical and spelling mistakes included.

Dear Recipient,
Enclosed you will find a DVD of the MOM Western Legends edition of "Support Your Local Sheriff" staring [sic] James Garner, Joan Hackett, and Walter Brennan. While we are sure that you will enjoy this feature we do wish to apologize for an error in the sound track, in particular the dubbing of Mr. Garners part. It is a little known fact that Mr. Garners native language is not English, but Esperanto. This made his rise to stardom difficult.
It is in fact widely believed that it was latent anti-Esperanto prejudice that caused him to once loose an election for president of the Screen Actors Guild to the less-talented but native English-speaking Ronald Regan [sic] & look what that led to.
in nay event, in some of his films, particularly his more serious, dramatic roles Mr. garner felt more comfortable speaking his lines in his native tongue. This lead to the need to dub the voice for his character back into English for American distribution and that's where a mistake was made in this edition.
One of the sound technicians, a radical marsupials, substituted the word 'Australia' for 'California' everywhere in the script and the geographically challenged production manager didn't notice until too late. Therefore we believe your viewing pleasure will be improved if you keep in mind that whenever Mr. Garners character says 'Australia' you realize it should be taken to mean 'California.'
