Similarly, I (and others) boycott Fiesta Pizza -- due to their refusal to stop their delivery people from driving and parking ON the sidewalk. Haven't noticed it going on as much recently (maybe they've had a change of heart, like Ghadaffi --however you spell his name.)
We had numerous discussions with the owners about the sidewalk parking/ driving problem (This goes back 4 or 5 years ago. Many people were involved: neigbors, SHCA officers, police, parking authority officers and the head of the parking authority, etc.) The Fiesta owners always said they would stop the sidewalk parking -- but, they never did. Never, never, never -- even the same day of our discusssions/ meetings! A Fiesta delivery guy even had the audacity to honk at us to get us out of the way, as a few of us were gathered ON THE SIDEWALK in front of Fiesta, simply talking. I refused to move. His car drove up the sidewalk and edged up to me. He honked continuously, and finally backed up a little, and parked on the sidewalk in front of the store next to Fiesta. There was open parking, in fact, in front of Fiesta (on the street), but, no, that was apparently not suitable. So, I don't think much of the current owners and won't patronize their establishment. They don't seem to give a damn about our neighborhood. So, that's my story. and I'm sticking to it.
